  17. Those barely pink and barely blue polishes look like bridal polishes to me. And I agree that the nude was absolute perfection for your skin tone! Just lovely.

    Fun Fact: I have never had ANY moving violation, or ticket of ANY kind, except for two parking tickets, 20 years apart, and I've been driving for FORTY YEARS!!! I'm an excellent driver, with millions of road miles under my belt. I did get a ticket when I was 19 or 20 for non-registration on my mother's brand-new car, a burgundy station wagon, but it should never have been issued. I showed the officer the DMV form from the loan company and he tossed it in the window of the car and said, "This is NOTHING to me." Then he wrote out the ticket. When I got home that day the registration and "tags" that go on the license plate were waiting in the mailbox. I went to court and fought the charge. It helped that I made sure I was appropriately dressed in my best western attire, (quite normal for rural northern California,) dark jeans, freshly polished cowboy boots, lovely cream-colored satin shadow stripe western blouse with pearl snaps, and a navy blue velvet blazer. My hair was done nicely and my makeup was perfect. When my case was called, I explained what had happened, had all my documentation ready in a file folder, and asked to approach the bench. He took one look at my documentation, took down the officer's name and dismissed my case. I'm reasonably certain that the officer was reprimanded for his lack of respect for the general public. It felt SO GOOD walking out of the courthouse with nothing hanging over my head I could have burst!

  22. I've been eyeing the Color Therapy line for awhile. The colors are so pretty!

    How do you think these compare to the Maxus polishes? Wow, those are expensive. I got the base and top coat and I'm not impressed with the former. The top coat is gorgeous, quick drying and shiny if refreshed every couple of days. After a couple weeks, I could tell I needed to go back to OPI Nail Envy.

  26. That blue is so pretty and the collection is a nice change from all the bright bright and neons that's popular right now. Don't get me wrong I love those brights, too!
