The first (root) chakra is associated with our security:for example, feeling secure and connected to our families and financial security. The second (Sacral) chakra is associated with our relationships, creativity and emotional security. The third (solar plexus) chakra is concerned with our self-esteem and our personal power. Many times these lower chakras are blocked or weak. This class addresses those energy centers to begin the healing process.

  1. The chakra explanations whilst doing the poses were wonderful, I was zoomed and zoned in to ym practice more. Loved it!

    If you could to do another Chakra one that would be tip top!

  2. I love your work and flows! You are providing such a gift to the world by sharing these videos with us. One piece of feedback on this video specifically… bringing up disorders like cancer and rectal tumors while practicing is a bit discouraging. Perhaps create a separate video where you talk about the issues that can arise? I found that this totally threw off my flow and ability to concentrate on the asana. But again, I love your work, thank you for sharing and keep it up!

  5. I have one question why when I practice the yoga after finished it after 3 hour I became angry for my husband and I want to be free and I want to cry I do not know why this happen to me is there any reason for that?

  7. I love all of your videos Lesley, this is the only one so far that I'd like to offer a comment. As opposed to listing out the problems of each chakra and how it could manifest (ie. cancer, depression, etc) I would offer a new line of commentary where you walk us through what the chakra does and how we are now healing and strengthening each one; like a visualization. Listing out the issues puts a negative spin on your otherwise wonderfully positive lessons. Just a suggestion. Thanks so much! Namaste.
