  1. I know that you have mentioned before the model of the printer you use but I cant find where I saw it. Would you share that again please? Thank you for another wonderful video.

  2. I wondered just where this was going…I was so pleasantly surprised at the end result. Great video and I
will start my own page this evening. You are such an inspiration Mike!

  3. I wish my lost mojo was as fabulous as yours. Your art is always so seemingly full of intent. I really love how you use your washi tape. I have rolls of the stuff and would use it more but when I apply it , it always looks like "why did I bother" ? or why did I put it there. ? whereas yours looks complete , intentional and adds a lot to your page. your sense of composition is something I'd like to emulate.
A well done video and art page. BTW I just recently discovered your "5 Top Elements for Art Journal Page Design " video on you-tube and it was so informative and encouraging without being " preachy". It's on my watch again list. Thanks for sharing your talents with us all.

  4. In this often brutal world, passion and danger are inextricably linked. Girls being killed for romances outside their culture or religion. The LGBT community in many countries still living in fear. Women being stoned to death for having affairs. Anyway off the soap box, fantastic page.

  5. Great page, hope you are all better now. I have been rather ill too, along with lots of others ! Hoping to get over it soon, and play catch-up. Thanks for sharing, hope things go your way now.

  6. Thank you for sharing this! Love the reds! Please take care of yourselves, there is so much going on and thank you for letting us know that your mom is doing better and mending.

  7. Smart, clever and different and……it worked! I'm just biding my time until I see your new place and your new work spaces….yours and Iam's. I know it will be easier to keep an eye on your Mum and Dad and that will lessen the tension of being able to make a quick emergency response. Let's hope that it won't be for a long while yet.

  8. LIFE!! It's a well known fact that life gets in the way of arts and crafts! Mum being ill over Christmas, man flu x the 2 of you and having trouble selling a house and moving into the new one would make most people loose their mojo!
Colour therapy is the answer! Red this week – orange next – and so on!

  9. Wow Mike that is awesome! Really love the idea of using just one colour. Looking forward to more videos like this and hope I get inspired as I am struggling with getting my mojo working!

  10. I love the process and fun of playing, I don't care what anyone thinks, if I like it I am happy. I love the way your page turned out. I rip up paper and glue it down randomly in a scrappy booklet of junk when I need to find my mojo.

  11. Excellent exercise! 🎨. Dig through our stash and go for one color! How fun is that? Fantastic. Very good and your double spread is amazing.

Great way to use some supplies we haven't played with for a while.

    Thank you so much. 🐙💓💕💖💟💅💃💋💝💓

  12. One other thing. One  time when I didn't like a journal page, I made flower shapes, tape them on the page like a mask, then painted the surrounding area white; remove the masks, and voila – a different-looking page . One thing I learned from other videos, we are our own worst critics. No page is truly finished because we can always go back and change something

  13. You do have a lot going on, color therapy for the win! I've realized that I need all new paints, mine are sadly empty or totally dried out. My daughter and I were given easels and canvases for Christmas to use in the garden (we've got to wait for good weather), now paints are a priority! Cheers!

  14. Love that page. You made the heart kind of 3D by adding the shading to it. Thank you for adding the bubble wrap in the right hand corner on the bottom. I didn't think you were going to and it would have bothered me for days! LOL

  15. Mike I like your red journal page. Surprisingly, it’s not all just one shade of red. I do like this & hope your mojo comes back soon!!! However, I am looking forward to a green journal page AND a blue journal page!!! ❤️💙💚❤️💙💚

  16. Love this idea for rekindling the mojo: thinking of ways to use one color family on a page would get my mind going quicker than, say, trying to use just one shape or one type of medium, etc. I'm always intrigued just watching you work and hearing your thought process as you go along. Thanks so much for all you do, but please do take some time for some self care! We'll be here when you get back! 😉

  17. Lovely page. Just remember mike, it is important that you enjoy what you do too. Doesn’t always have to be something new or a lesson. Sometimes you should just do what you love . We would enjoy watching anything you do . Xx

  18. Gorgeous page! Nothing wrong with your mojo, Mike. Don’t know how the economics of Youtube work for you, but I guess you know that YouTube burnout is a thing, moving house etc. is enormously stressful, and I think we’d all like you to stay happy and relaxed and concentrating on the important stuff in your life right now. ❤️❤️❤️
