Grounding Into Gratitude – Root Chakra Yoga – Yoga With Adriene

This yoga practice guides you through a series of poses to balance the root chakra and cultivate grounding with gratitude. When the root chakra, or Muladhara, is out of balance a person can feel anxious, uneasy, fearful, worried and stressed. This can lead to low energy and low immunity and an overall sense of instability. Use the tools of yoga to strengthen and balance to the root chakra, the foundation of all the other chakras. Cultivate self love, stability, and sense of security. You are worthy and deserving. Remind yourself, you are awesome and you are supported!

Take good care of yourself so you can take good care of others. Let me know how it goes down below. Namaste.

  1. Adrienne this video showed up in my queue today (2/14/19) I believe the universe was giving me a nudge. Thank you so much it has reminded me of my of my commitment to be honest, open and loving. So easy to forget as I deal with day to day life.

  2. Adriene,
Thank you for being you! You and your videos are what have changed my life and made me fall in the love with the practice of yoga. Without your videos, I truly believe that I wouldn't be where I am in my life today.. about 2 weeks away from finishing my 200 hour yoga teacher training. Thank you for everything that you do and being your authentic true self..

  3. I don't know much about yoga, but isn't there a thing where you want to physically connect to the earth to balance your energy? If so, why are yoga mats made from a rubbery, insulating material that breaks your connection to the earth? With love ❤ from sunny 🌅 Arizona 🌵

  4. Adriene, thank you so much. You really know how to make these yoga videos fun to do along with you on youtube. This was the first one that I could get thru that I felt as if I was at a yoga class. Sometimes I'm not always able to get to a class so I've been trying to find a channel that I like and an instructor that I can enjoy listening to as I do a session at home.

  5. Very relaxing and very interesting that I can cultivate gratitude through the root chakra, sometimes I feel it is difficult for me to accept some facts that affected me in the past, now I see that through yoga I can see that being a human being I already have everything necessary to progress. Thank you very much, Namaste! You look beautiful with this outfit

  6. Benji is such a good boy. I love seeing him on your videos. Thank you Adriene for your instruction and guidance. I’ve been practicing daily for the last 3 months and am amazed at the impact it has made on my life.

  7. I’m usually super active and have been basically a potato for the last week because I’ve been sick. I’m finally getting better, but still feeling out of sorts. I went into this video kind of woozy and groggy and came out feeling much better. Thank you for the practice you bring to us! 🙏

  8. Hi! I was looking for a different root chakra opening instruction, because the one my teacher has us doing just doesn't feel good to me. Idk why, it just doesn't, but this one felt great. TY!

  9. Practicing in Seattle, WA as part of my homemade New Years retreat! This year, I decided to bring in the new year by selecting a bunch of your videos and doing journal prompts. Today is about reflection and gratitude for the past year, and tomorrow is about letting go and moving forward and setting intentions for this next year. I'm doing your resolve to evolve mediation at midnight, and could not be more excited to bring in the new year in this meaningful way 🙂

  10. This was awesome and thank you do very much. When I excelled during I AM it wad like a roar of relief that brought tears to my eyes. It was like a ton of bricks was released from my body. And for this I thank you again🙏 namaste
